A: Can I take a picture with the lion, Dad?
甲：我可以和獅子照張相嗎，老爸？
B: Sure. But don't go too near the cage.
乙：當(dāng)然可以。不過不要太靠近籠子喔。
A: I'll stand behind the railing.
甲：我會站在欄桿后面。
B: OK. Are you ready? Say "Cheese!"
乙：好了，準(zhǔn)備好了嗎？說"Cheese"！
A: Cheese!
甲：Cheese!
B: That's a good one.
乙：這張照得很棒。
A: Lions are beautiful, aren't they?
甲：獅子好漂亮喔，對不對？
B: They sure are. After all, the lion is "king of the beasts."
乙：當(dāng)然啰。畢竟，獅子是"萬獸之王"啊。

A: Wow! Look at that elephant. It's gigantic!
甲：哇！看那頭大象，好大喔！
B: It sure is.
乙：的確是。
A: Can I feed it?
甲：我可以喂它嗎？
B: No. There's a no-feeding sign over there.
乙：不行。那兒有一個禁止喂食的標(biāo)志。
A: Poor elephant.
甲：可憐的大象。
B: There aren't many elephants left in the world, are there?
乙：世界上所剩的大象不多了，不是嗎？
A: People kill them for their tusks. Now they are an endangered species.
甲：人們?yōu)槿〉孟笱蓝鴼⒑λ鼈儯F(xiàn)在它們成了瀕臨絕種的動物。
B: Man sometimes behaves worse than animals.
乙：人類的行為有時候連禽獸都不如。
