China calls on US to strengthen cooperation instead of containment
US President Barack Obama's Asia trip this week had excluded a trip to China but China's Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Qin Gang said peaceful development and cooperation were common interest in the region. He said American intentions would be reflected in what their words and actions.
美國總統(tǒng)Barack Obama亞洲之行不包括中國,但中國外交部發(fā)言人秦剛稱,和平發(fā)展與合作符合亞太地區(qū)的共同利益。他還說,美國的意圖會體現(xiàn)在他們的言論及行動上。
"US President Barack Obama, has said many times and on different occasions that the US has no intention to contain China and we agree that China and the US share comprehensive common interests in Asia-Pacific affairs. The two nations should strengthen co-operation and work together with other relevant nations in the region to enhance the peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region." Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang said.
“美國總統(tǒng)Barack Obama在不同場合多次說過,美國無意牽制中國,而且雙方一致認同中美之間在亞太事物中享有全面共同利益。中美兩國應(yīng)該加強合作,與該地區(qū)其它國家共同加強亞太地區(qū)的和平,穩(wěn)定,發(fā)展及共同繁榮。”中國外交部發(fā)言人秦剛說。
