我的世界觀
I do not at all believe in human freedom in the philosophical sense.
我根本就不相信哲學所謂的人的自由。
Everybody acts not only under external compulsion but also in accordance with inner necessity.
一個人的所作所為，不僅是外界所迫也是內心所需。
Schopenhauer's saying,"A man can do what he wants,but not want what he wants,"has been a very real inspiration to me since my youth;
叔本華說過："一個人能做他想做的，但不能要他想要的。"從年輕時起這句話就一直深深地激勵著我。
it has been a continual consolation in the face of life's hardships, my own and others',and an unfailing well-spring of tolerance.
生活中，無論是我自己面臨困境，還是看見他人遇到艱難，我都能以此自慰；
This realization mercifully mitigates the easily paralyzing sense of responsibility and prevents us from taking ourselves and other people all too seriously;
同時，這句話也是使我寬容忍耐的不盡源泉。認識到這一點，就能安心地緩減那易于使人氣餒的沉重的責任感，并使我們不至于對自己對他人都過分苛求;
it is conducive to a view of life which,in particular, gives humor its due.
