A Brain Transplant 腦移植

The Brain Surgeon was about to perform a brain transplant.

一個外科醫生正要作一個腦移植手術。

"You have your choice of two brains," he told the patient, "For $1000 you can have the brain of a psychologist, or for $10,000 you can have the brain of a politician."

“你可以從兩個腦子中選一個給你。”醫生告訴病人，“一個心理學家的大腦1000美元，一個政治家的大腦10000美元。

The patient was amazed at the huge difference in price. "Is the brain of a politician that much better?" he asked.

The Brain Surgeon replied, "No, it’s not better, just unused."

1.surgeon

surgeon 指專修外科或專修人體某個部分的外科專科醫生，這種醫生一般需對患者進行手術治療。

eg:Surgeon from district hospital.

來自區醫院的外科醫生.

dentist 指專門從事治牙的醫生。

doctor 普通用詞，泛指各科醫生，即一切有行醫資格的人。

physician 指醫院的內科醫生。

be amazed at表示對什麼東西感到吃驚。

相當于： be shocked at; be surprised at

be amazed to see 看到[聽到, 發現]...感到吃驚

be amazed to hear 聽到[聽到, 發現]...感到吃驚
