RD:What do you think your strength is as a parent?
作為父親，你覺(jué)得你的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)是什么？
Cruise:Everything! I'm a great parent. I want to be with my kids. They are happy. They get to do all the stuff I wanted to do when I was growing up.
都是我的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)吧！我是一位了不起的父親。我的孩子們都很幸福。他們可以做我年輕的時(shí)候就很想做的事情。
RD:What do you want your children to learn about life?
我希望你的孩子學(xué)習(xí)生活的什么呢？
Cruise:I've told them anything is possible. I started them when they were young, first swimming, then riding, hiking, climbing. It's giving them confidence to learn, to put in them a sense of integrity, sympathy and understanding.
我盡可能地告訴他們所有的事情。當(dāng)他們很小的時(shí)候，我就首先教他們游泳，然后騎車(chē)，遠(yuǎn)足和爬山。這些讓他們很有自信，培養(yǎng)了他們的正直感，同情心和理解力。
RD:Do you want to be married again and have more children?

Cruise:Yeah, yeah. I love kids. And I'd like to get married. I like being in a relationship.

RD:So how does Tom Cruise, single guy, find a girlfriend?

Cruise:They call me up.

Cruise:I'm dating, but I don't have a girlfriend.

RD:And you're confident you'll find somebody?

Cruise:I have to. There has to be that woman out there. I want to be with someone who's going to be a lot of fun. Someone who doesn't mind traveling, loves kids, loves a lot of activities. Someone I can really trust, someone who can really communicate, someone who enjoys life.
是的。一定會(huì)有我的意中人。我喜歡能和一個(gè)有趣的人在一起。她不介意旅行，愛(ài)孩子，喜歡參加活動(dòng)。她值得我信任，可以和我促膝長(zhǎng)談，并且熱愛(ài)生活。
RD:You reconciled with your father before he died. What was that like?
在你父親去世之前，你和他合好了。那是怎么回事？
Cruise:I saw him right before he died. So I don't fell regret. You look at people in his position, and you feel bad for them, for what they missed in life. I understand what he was going through.
在他臨終前我去看他最好一面。所以我沒(méi)有遺憾了。站在他的角度看他的一生，我覺(jué)得有很多遺憾。我能理解他所經(jīng)歷的一些事情。
