Pakistan's High Commissioner to Britain has hailed Malala as an icon of Pakistan. Wa-jid Sham-sul Hasan called her a symbol of the country's struggle against the Taliban.
駐英高級專員哈桑稱贊馬拉拉為巴基斯坦的偶像，是抵抗塔利班的象征。
Wajid Shamsul Hasan, Pakistan High Commissioner to Britain, said, "She has become an icon for every Pakistani - even the huge Diaspora we have, over 1.3 million. They all look to her as one of the persons who has bravely stood, despite her age against the Taliban’s barbarism. She is determined to continue her missions. She said she is following in the footsteps of Benazir Bhutto."
