Mom's Here 媽媽來了

One evening I drove my husband's car to the shopping mall.On my return, I noticed that how dusty the outside of his car was and cleaned it up a bit.When I finally entered the house, I called out.'The woman who loves you the most in the world just cleaned your headlights and windshield.'

一天晚上我開著丈夫的車去購物，回來后發現車身沾滿灰塵，于是擦洗了一陣。當我終于走進屋里時大聲喊：“世界上最愛你的女人剛擦洗了你的車燈和擋風玻璃。”

1.shopping mall

SHOPPING MALL：超大規模購物中心產生于二十世紀初，五六十年代在美國等發達國家盛行，掀起了商業經營方式的新浪潮，并逐漸以其購物、餐飲、休閑、娛樂、旅游等綜合性經營模式與完美的環境配套設施而風靡歐、美、日及東南亞國家。

Shoppingmall其英文原意為“散步道式的商店街”。Mall的原意是林陰道，shoppingmall意為超大型購物中心，即購物猶如在林陰道上閑逛一樣舒適愜意。

2.cleaned it up

clean 是清洗的這個動作，強調進行；

clean up 包含完成的意思，即已經打掃干凈了。

clean out 意思是“掃除，清除，打掃干凈”，是將某物掃除掉，將其扔掉，從而達到干凈的效果。

eg:We should clean up the dirty parts of the sea.

我們應該清除海里的污染部分。

3.look up

向上看；改善；拜訪（某人）；查找
