1.Why didn't you shout for help

Why don't you do sth?=Why not do sth?

為什么不……？表示“提供建議”

eg：Why don't you try it on?=Why not try it on ?

而Why didn' t you do sth?在一般情況下，含有“責備”的意思。

eg：Why didn' t you finish your homework yesterday?

你昨天為什么沒有完成作業？

至于why do not you..?，不能說錯了，不過我們一般不這么說。

2.when you were robbed of your watch

rob是搶劫的意思，基本用法為：

rob sb of sth rob后面接人，其搭配介詞是of.搶劫某人的東西剝奪,使失去

關于搶劫，有以下幾種不同說法：

a.rob有搶劫，盜去，偷取的意思。而且它搶的往往是sb.而不是sth.

b.snatch做不及物動詞時有搶奪，攫取的意思。

c.abduct綁架；誘拐。它的意思是綁架某人，并獲取贖金。

3.That would be much worse.

表示情況變得更糟，類似的說法還有：
