Step 1: Lube Your Cube

It's easy to move a cube around above water, but below, the water can make the plastic stickier, and harder to handle. Spray the cube with silicone, making sure the resistance from the water will be countered by the lube in the cube.

Step 2: Weights

In very shallow water, strap on a weight belt that's about 15% of your body weight, just heavy enough to keep you sitting comfortably at the bottom of the pool, but light enough to come up whenever you want.

Step 3: Breath Control
