The first thing you need to do is tear the striker part from a matchbox. Then fold the striker part in half and place it in an ashtray. Now light the striker part and burn it for a little while. Push the burned out striker part aside, and the brown or yellow residue will be left in the ashtray. Wipe the residue off with a finger, and now start to rub your fingers against each other and see the smoke appear.
