【復習】
Last time we learned a sentence pattern. It is : One's requirement is that sb. ( sth. ) should do. 意思是：某人的要求是.......。某人要求......。我們已經學過了，主句中有requirement表示要求這個詞，那么它后面跟著的表語從句要使用虛擬語氣，我們已經說過了，虛擬語氣的體就現在謂語形式上，那么這個句式上，它的謂語形式為：should + 動詞原形，其中should是可以省略的。再次強調注意省略should后，要保持后面動詞是動詞原形。

And two translation exercises were left last time which is required that we should translate it in three ways , all using subjunctive , which seems a little difficult and it doesn't matter that I'm about to let the answers to them out in the open.

你媽媽的要求是你要悉心照顧家里的寵

1 Your mother's requirement was that you take a lot care of and pay much attention to the pets in your family.

【2 Your mother required that you take a lot care of and pay much attention to the pets in your family.

3 It was required that you take a lot care of and pay much attention to the pets in your family.

【Juliet問】你能給聽眾朋友們分析一下上面翻譯出來的句子分別是采用什么方式進行翻譯呢？

【Tim 答】All right !No problem. 第一句是采用表語從句進行，第二句是采用賓語從句進行翻譯，第三句是采用主語從句進行翻譯。

【Juliet答】Tim, your answer is not exactly right. You should say like that: 第一句是采用含有表語從句的復合句進行翻譯，第二句是含有賓語從句的復合句進行翻譯，第三句式含有主語從句的復合句進行翻

上司的要求是你必須馬上處理這個緊急情況。

1 Our supervisor's requirement is that you give an urgent treatment to the problem.

2 Our supervisor requires you give an urgent treatment tothe problem .

3 It is required that you give an urgent treatment to the problem.

【Juliet問】現在你能夠給聽眾朋友們講述一下上面的三個句子是采用什么方式進行翻譯的？

【Tim答】Okay! Juliet. I have caught it! 第一句是采用含有表語從句的復合句進行翻譯，第二句是含有賓語從句的復合句進行翻譯，第三句式含有主語從句的復合句進行翻譯。

【Juliet 問】That's the idea this time. 我們都知道，單詞的組成即成了短語，短語的組合即成了句子，句子的組合即是段落，段落的組合就成了文章了。那么，由此可將，短語是多么的重要呀。上面的句子中，我們要積累那些短語呢？

【Tim答】I think there are two. One is " give a treatment", the other is "a treatment to".

【Juliet問】 那你為何覺得這2個短語重要呢？

【Tim答】因為give a treatment它是一個動詞短語，它在這句話中是“處理”的意思，但是了它還有“對待”的意思。作為這兩個意思來講，跟treatment搭配的動詞就只有give這一個動詞。而a treatment to 是一個名詞性短語，在名詞性短語中我們要注意它后面的介詞，要表示......的待遇，......的對待......的處理，一定要用介詞to,不能用of. （to be continued）
