1.Well that's great! It's nice that we have something in common.
common:If something is common, it is found in large numbers or it happens often,普遍,常見
e.g.His name was Hansen, a common name in Norway.
have something in common:If two or more people have something in common, they share the same interests or experiences有共同點,
e.g.He had very little in common with his sister.
另外,通過上文中的“I also like going to the movies.
2.The movie theater is always so crowded on the weekends. I like to go to the movies during the week.
并且文中也提到了“always so crowded”,所以我們可以聯想出,說話者不喜歡在周末的時候去看電影,而后面的“I like to go to the movies during the week”這句話也正好驗證了我們的推測。
3.I like watching comedies, like "Borat."
Not really, I like watching horror movies, like "The Unborn."
通過說話者的“I like watching comedies, like Borat.”和“Not really, I like watching horror movies, like "The Unborn."
