但是那個(gè)時(shí)候，能量會(huì)燒盡嗎？

run out

意思就是“用盡 耗盡”，在文章當(dāng)中提到的 the fuel will run out，指的就是“燃料燒盡”。那么，在我們的日常生活中，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)要怎么用呢？

打個(gè)比方：Could I have a cigarette? I seem to have run out (of them).
給我一枝煙好嗎? 我的(煙)已經(jīng)抽完啦。

再比如：We are running out of petrol.（我們的汽油快用光了）
