LESSON 66 THE EAGLE
第六十六課 鷹之歌
Bird of the broad and sweeping wing! Thy home is high in heaven, Where the wide storms their banners fling, And the tempest clouds are driven.
鳥兒展翅翱翔！你的家在高高的天上，風暴扯動他們的旗幟，驅趕著雨云。
Thy throne is on the mountain top; Thy fields, the boundless air; And hoary peaks, that proudly prop. The skies, thy dwellings are.
你在突出的峭壁上棲息；在你的領地，在無邊的大氣里；還有那些傲然挺立的蒼蒼的山峰。你棲息在蒼穹之下。
Thou art perched aloft on the beetling crag, and the waves are white below, and on, with a haste that can not lag, they rush in an endless flow.
你停留在高高的甲蟲狀的巖壁上，身下就是白色海浪，他們迅急沖進無盡的水流。
Again thou hast plumed thy wing for flight to lands beyond the sea.
為了翱翔你又整理自己的羽毛，越過大海著陸在那地方。
And away, like a spirit wreathed in light, thou hurriest, wild and free.
就像被光包裹著的精靈，匆忙上路，自由地無拘無束。
Lord of the boundless realm of air! In thy imperial name, the hearts of the bold and ardent dare, the dangerous path of fame.
無際無垠的天空之主啊！那些勇敢和熱烈的心竟敢以你帝王的名義，踏上這危險的名譽之路。
