LESSON 44 SPRING
第四十四課 春天
Spring is come, and every thing is waking from its winter sleep. The fields are dressed in a fresh robe of green.
春天來(lái)了，萬(wàn)物都從冬眠中蘇醒了。大地也穿上了嫩綠的浴袍。
There are buds on the trees, and the wild-flowers once more begin to peep forth. The whites now-drop is one of the first flowers of spring. How lovely it is!
樹(shù)兒發(fā)芽了，野花也再一次隱隱可見(jiàn)了。正在消失的白色成為了春天的第一群花中的一朵。太可愛(ài)了。
Birds sing among the trees, and begin to get ready their nests for summer.
鳥(niǎo)兒在樹(shù)間歌唱，開(kāi)始為夏天的鳥(niǎo)巢做準(zhǔn)備。
Men begin now to plough and to sow in the fields. The gardener digs the ground, and sows seeds in the garden.
人們開(kāi)始耕地在田間播種，園丁開(kāi)始掘地在花園里播種。
The days are warmer, for brighter sunshine has come again. Everything is full of life and joy.
隨著明媚的陽(yáng)光再一次到來(lái)，天氣變的越來(lái)越暖和，萬(wàn)物都充滿了生機(jī)和樂(lè)趣。
Soon the soft spring showers will fall, to water the earth and make the seeds to grow. It is by the rain and the sunshine that God makes the corn to grow, and the trees to bear leaves and flowers and fruit.
綿綿的春雨不久就會(huì)到來(lái)，灌溉著整個(gè)大地，種子也開(kāi)始生長(zhǎng)。通過(guò)雨與陽(yáng)光上帝使谷物生長(zhǎng)，樹(shù)木長(zhǎng)出樹(shù)葉并開(kāi)花結(jié)果。
God does it all: it is the way，he gives us corn for bread,
上帝做了所有的事情：通過(guò)這種方式他給予我們能夠用來(lái)制作面包的谷物，
Sweet herbs to eat, and pleasant fruit,
可食用的美味的草本植物，可口的水果，
That we may all be fed.
等其他的所有我們可能會(huì)吃到的美味。
Then let us never see a plant
雖然我們從未見(jiàn)到過(guò)一種植物,
Or blossom on a tree,
或樹(shù)上開(kāi)花，
But let us think how good God is,
但是讓我們想想上帝是多么的美好，
And ever thankful be.
上帝就是我們一直感激的樣子。
