Story Time

1 Look and listen. Then read and act out the story.

Jack and his mother had no money. They had no food to eat.
杰克和他媽媽沒錢。他們沒有食物吃了。
One day, Jack's mother said, "This is no good. We have no food. Go to the market and sell our cow."
有一天，杰克的媽媽說，“這樣不行。我們沒有食物了。去集市上把我們的奶牛賣了吧。”
On the way to the market, Jack met an old man.
在去集市的路上，杰克遇到了一個老人。
He bought Jack's cow. He gave Jack five beans, but no money.
他買走了杰克的奶牛。他給了杰克五顆豆，沒給錢。
"These beans will make you rich," said the old man.
“這些豆會使你變得富有，”老人說。
"Mum, I sold the cow," shouted Jack. "Look, I've got five beans."
“媽媽，我把奶牛賣掉了，”杰克大聲說喊道。“看，我得到了五顆豆。”
"Five beans? That's no good," said Jack's mother angrily.
“五顆豆？那可不行，”杰克的媽媽很生氣地說。
"Now we have no money and no cow!" And she threw the beans out of the window.
“現在我們沒錢沒奶牛了！”然后她把豆扔出了窗外。
The beans grew taller and taller.
豆長得越來越高。
And the next day, Jack saw a big beanstalk in the garden.
到了第二天，杰克在花園里看到了一棵高大的豆莖。
He climb up the beanstalk and found 5 gold coins.
他爬上豆莖，看到了五枚金幣。
"Hooray!" he shouted. "We're rich!"
“萬歲！”他大叫。“我們有錢了！”
