train做名詞時表示火車，例如： We got to that city by train.我們坐火車到那城市。
train可被用做動詞，動詞時表示培訓。
例如我們說的培訓中心英文就是 training center。
Our teacher trained us for months before the competition.比賽前老師培訓了我們好幾個月。
train也可做不及物動詞，表示（某人）訓練。如：
They are training for the boat race.他們正在為劃船比賽接受訓練。
