意思用法

1. set 做動詞時，基本意思就是“ 放；放置”，
如 He set the hot glass on the table 他把熱玻璃杯放到桌子上
Do you know who set fire to the storehouse? 你知道是誰放火燒了倉庫
set fire to 表示 “縱火；放火”

2. set做動詞時，還有“調整”的意思
如 Do remember to set your alarm, or you will oversleep 一定要記住定鬧鐘，不然你會睡過頭

3. set 也可做名詞，意識是“ 一套；一系列”
如you need a spare set of clothes 你需要一套備用的衣服
