一.What's going on? 發生了什么事？
當錯過了什么事或表示對某事感到驚奇的時候，就可以問What's going on? “發生了什么事？”與what (the hell) is happening? 意思相同，the hell此處為形容發生的事情嚴重。
二.Take sb. downstairs/upstairs: 帶某人下樓/上樓
e.g.:He didn't return to her information, tired of her touch, started early to catch her home, no longer take her downstairs to the station after she got on the bus to leave.
他開始不回她的信息，開始厭煩她的碰觸，開始早早趕她回家，不再送她到樓下車站目送她上車之后才離去。
三.take away from: 從…拿走；減損；貶低
e.g.: For there is only one thing that people can't take away from you, and that is your wisdom.
因為這個世界上只有一種東西是別人無法從你的身上拿走的，那，就是你的智慧！
四.stay with: 同…住在一起；把…堅持下去；與…并駕齊驅
e.g.:Stay with us, and I will not mock at thee.
留下來和我們在一起吧，我不會嘲笑你的。
五.in shock: 休克；處于極度震驚狀態
e.g.:While sitting there on that plane, I was still very upset, and in shock over what I had witnessed.
當坐在飛機上的時候，我還是感到很不安，并對我所看到的事情感到震驚。
六.for God's sake: 看在上帝的份上。
表示感慨的時候，常常可以說“看在老天爺的份上”，For God's sake!
七.manage to do: 掙扎做某事；設法完成某事
e.g.:It should be possible for most people to manage to do it.
大多數人應該都能做到。
八.shame on you: 你太無恥；你真丟臉
說一個人真丟臉或厚顏無恥的時候，這句shame on you 可真是恰到好處的幫了大忙。
