我那么愛打乒乓，甚至在睡夢(mèng)中都會(huì)打。

I ran so far, so fast that pretty soon, I was all by myself.
我跑得那么遠(yuǎn)，那么快，很快就發(fā)現(xiàn)我的身邊沒有同伴了。

“so…that”句型是我們大家都熟悉的，但是在觀賞電影的時(shí)候，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)在美國(guó)人的日常英語中卻不是應(yīng)用的很多，即使使用，也不會(huì)教條地說成“so…that”,而像上面的首例中 that是可以省略的。

1. The lecture was so boring, that I fell asleep.
講座無聊之至,我睡著了。

2. He was so tired he even could’t stand up.
他累極了,甚至都站不起來了。

中國(guó)人在口語表達(dá)里習(xí)慣用這樣的句子：
1.There were so many curtain calls that the singer lost count of them. 而地道的美國(guó)口語會(huì)表達(dá)地簡(jiǎn)明扼要。

2. The singer lost count of the number of curtain calls. 歌手謝幕了很多次。
