　　Reading：

　　1) O這個地方的商人在地中海和別人交易的時候，他們的物品were native to南亞，尤其是rare wood和ivory;

　　2) 從地中海到O地要花一年半時間才能航行結束，正好跟南亞到地中海的距離相匹配(Consistent with the idea that O is located in SA);

　　3) the words for the goods in the eastern地中海are similar with the items in SA language

　　Listening:

　　1) O可以做為一個trading center，來自不同的地方的物品在這里轉運到其他地方；

　　2) 以前的航海術（navigating technology primitive）不發達，需要頻繁停靠（frequently stop），所以段距離也要花很長時間；

　　3) 一些詞的相同不足說明問題，因為澳大利亞和英國對狗都用同一個詞，但是之前并沒有contact，因為可能這些小相似只是巧合。

　　這個題目屬于工作類話題，屬于常考話題。之前出現過類似的題目：是否同意低薪假期多的工作比高薪假期少的工作好(09.02.27)? 對于這類工作類話題的理由點很固定，一般就是從工作的成就感、幸福點以及自己今后的職業規劃方向相聯系；這類話題比較簡單，可以聯系自己目前在做的工作或以后自己的實際情況進行寫作。此類話題可以通過牢記上課學過的工作類專題詞匯進行寫作！

　　Most people pursue a good life for their whole life, during which a decent job can contribute a lot to their happiness and satisfaction. To a greater extent, a good job can sometimes determine their future blueprint and life direction. To be specific, many factors can account for their lasting gratification. Although a boring job with more vacation and less challenges surely imposes less stress and strain on one’s normal life, the interesting and challenging ones with less vacation time can serve as a guarantee for a lasting sound and happy mood.

　　It’s true that the interesting and challenging job offers people less time to spare on other things, such as accompanying family members and friends, going for a trip and improving oneself in certain realm, etc. However, when it comes to the long-term and sustainable development for a person, the sense of gratification and achievement is the most valued and cherished quality of a person. The lack of vacation can be accumulated for a longer one.

　　What’s the most important, the interesting and challenging job can provide one with more refreshing and heart-touching moment and feeling, which in turn contributes to their specific happiness. It is better to get up with the unknown challenging job waiting for one than to get up with the usual or even bored feeling to do the routine work. It is believed that one will work hard enough for quite a time to earn something for them, such a long-waited vacation. Usually, people will feel more relaxed after a long-time working period than those who enjoy frequent vacations. Nowadays, most post-90s and 00s prefer to choose what they find interesting and challenging instead of the routine ones, for they relish the sense of achievement. Most of them will not take the road assigned by their parents, who always hold that a job should be stable and no challenges. However, in the long run, the more challenging and interesting one will ensure a happy life instead of a life with blames.

　　Furthermore, the interesting and challenging job can help people boost their career path, during which one can learn more and faster. In this way, people can grow up quickly. Once people get interested in one thing, he/she will surely want to learn more about it. People can keep abreast of the latest updates and become an expert in this field. One can in turn get more satisfaction from this kind of job, which will definitely help one to enjoy the trip. During the trip, one can feel the utmost joy, which will further augment his job in the next stage. Otherwise, people will get used to the less challenging ones, for people are inclined to procrastinate their work or project. With days coming by, one will not truly improve themselves in some respects. Therefore, a job with less vacation cannot be a problem for one who really wants to grow up in his job.

　　In a word, a life-long happiness counts most for everyone, which can be gained from a more challenging and interesting job. Moreover, it can also help people grow and mature in the long run.
