I Would Do a Postgraduate Degree Abroad
我會選擇出國讀研。
Nowadays, more and more university students have chosen to study abroad for postgraduate degrees. Personally, I believe that studying in a foreign country is beneficial for students' future.
現如今，越來越多的大學生選擇出國讀研。我個人認為，在國外學習對學生的未來有好處。
First, the experience of living and studying in a different culture can give students a new perspective toreach a more informed judgment, It is undeniable that students are at a disadvantage when their mind is restrained by one single particular culture; this is more so in the era of globalization when international collaboration is becoming increasingly crucial. Second, by studying in a developed country students can acquire some state-of-the-art technology or theories which are not currently available in China. Also, a cosmopolitan mindset which can actively absorb new elements is undoubtedly advantageous to students' development, Third, the proverbial "broaden one's horizons also vindicates' the value of studying abroad. It helpsnew graduates to cooperate with people from various nations and promotes understanding between disparate cultures, Fourth, obtaining a degree from a credible foreign university often makes job hunting much easierand students also will have more choices. Last, studying abroad often requires students to be fluent in a foreign language; and this gives them a good incentive to apply themselves to a new language.
首先，學習和生活在不同的文化之中可以讓學生擁有全新的視野，掌握更多的知識，無可否認，學生會處于下風，特別是當學生受到單一文化的限制時；在全球化，以及國際合作的背景之下，這樣的的限制更是尤為如此。第二，在發達國家學習可以學習到先進的科學技術，或是中國還沒有掌握的理論知識。此外，全球化的視野更能夠讓學生吸收新的元素，這有利于學生的發展，這是毋庸置疑的，第三，眾所周知，擴寬視野就可以證明在國外學習的價值。這可以促進各國學生之間的合作，互相了解之間的文化。第四，獲得外國名牌大學的畢業證書會讓找工作更為容易，學生也會有更多的選擇。最后，在國外學習的學生會說一口流利的外語；這也會促使他們努力習得另一門新語種。
In conclusion, studying abroad grants students a valuable life-enriching experience, a new world mindset and the opportunity to mix and cooperate with and understand people of different cultures and races.
總結，出國留學會讓學生擁有豐富的經歷和閱歷、全新的世界觀，更有機會去與不同文化，不同種族的人一同合作。
