8. catch some Zs 小睡一下
A：Excuse me. I have to catch some Zs. 抱歉！ 我想小睡一下。
B：I thought you just woke up. Sleepy head. 我以為你才剛睡醒。愛睡蟲。
漫畫里的人睡覺，不是都畫“Z,Z,Z...”來表示嗎。這里的“catch some Zs”就是這樣來的�！癐 have to catch some Zs.”也可以說“I have to take a nap.”或“I need to snooze.”
9. take a dump 上大號
A：Would you mind closing the door? I'm trying to take a dump here. 你可不可以把門關起來呢？我正在上大號。
B：Well, learn to lock the door next time. 那么下次學會把門鎖起來吧！
“dump”是“丟掉”的意思，“丟”什么不必解釋了吧？“我要上廁所”(大小號都一樣) 可以說 “I need to use the restroom.” 或簡單地說“I need to go.”
