Boao zero-carbon demonstration zone
博鰲零碳示范區(qū)
China's Boao has announced on March 25, 2025 the establishment of its first zero-carbon demonstration zone, a significant step forward in the country's pursuit of low-carbon development, according to authorities in Hainan. The demonstration zone has successfully reduced carbon dioxide emissions from buildings and other infrastructure from 11,300 tonnes in 2019 to zero tonnes in 2024, according to data from local authorities.
2025年3月25日，海南省宣布，“博鰲近零碳示范區(qū)”啟動(dòng)運(yùn)行以來，節(jié)能減排成效顯著，目前已完成從“近零碳”到“零碳”的關(guān)鍵跨越。實(shí)測(cè)數(shù)據(jù)顯示，示范區(qū)建筑和基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施用能產(chǎn)生的二氧化碳排放量從基準(zhǔn)年（2019年）的1.13萬噸到2024年全面實(shí)現(xiàn)零碳。
Reaching peak carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality will mean a broad and profound systemic socio-economic transformation. Based on China's energy and resource endowment, we will advance initiatives to reach peak carbon emissions in a well-planned and phased way in line with the principle of building the new before discarding the old. We will exercise better control over the amount and intensity of energy consumption, particularly of fossil fuels, and transition gradually toward controlling both the amount and intensity of carbon emissions. We will promote clean, low-carbon, and high-efficiency energy use and push forward the clean and low-carbon transition in industry, construction, transportation, and other sectors.
實(shí)現(xiàn)碳達(dá)峰碳中和是一場(chǎng)廣泛而深刻的經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)系統(tǒng)性變革。立足我國能源資源稟賦，堅(jiān)持先立后破，有計(jì)劃分步驟實(shí)施碳達(dá)峰行動(dòng)。完善能源消耗總量和強(qiáng)度調(diào)控，重點(diǎn)控制化石能源消費(fèi)，逐步轉(zhuǎn)向碳排放總量和強(qiáng)度“雙控”制度。推動(dòng)能源清潔低碳高效利用，推進(jìn)工業(yè)、建筑、交通等領(lǐng)域清潔低碳轉(zhuǎn)型。
