China's top Internet regulator on last Sunday ordered the microblogging platforms of Sina and Tencent to shut down the accounts of Ren Zhiqiang, a celebrity blogger and property developer, for spreading illegal information.
中國(guó)國(guó)家網(wǎng)信辦上周日責(zé)令新浪、騰訊微博平臺(tái)關(guān)閉知名博主、地產(chǎn)商任志強(qiáng)的賬號(hào)，原因是其傳播違法信息。
"Cyberspace is not a lawless field and it should not be used to spread illegal information by anyone," said Jiang Jun, spokesperson with the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC).
國(guó)家網(wǎng)信辦發(fā)言人姜軍表示：“網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間不是一個(gè)非法的領(lǐng)域，它不應(yīng)該被任何人用來(lái)傳播非法信息。”
Ren's microblog accounts have been closed after netizens reported that he had regularly posted illegal information, "resulting in a vile influence," according to Jiang.
姜軍說(shuō)：“此前，據(jù)網(wǎng)民舉報(bào)，任志強(qiáng)微博賬號(hào)持續(xù)公開(kāi)發(fā)布違法信息，影響惡劣。”
The CAC vowed intensified law enforcement efforts in monitoring and managing online information and content, saying that it would not allow users of the closed accounts to register again under another name.
國(guó)家網(wǎng)信辦承諾將加大網(wǎng)上信息內(nèi)容監(jiān)督管理執(zhí)法力度，并表示決不允許已被關(guān)閉賬號(hào)的用戶"換馬甲"再次注冊(cè)。
Jiang called on both the Internet service providers and netizens to enhance awareness and guard "the bottom lines" of laws, the socialist system, the national and citizen's legal interests, social order, ethics and the authenticity of information.
姜軍指出，無(wú)論是互聯(lián)網(wǎng)信息服務(wù)提供者還是網(wǎng)民，都應(yīng)增強(qiáng)自律意識(shí)和堅(jiān)守法律底線、堅(jiān)守社會(huì)主義制度底線、堅(jiān)守國(guó)家利益底線、堅(jiān)守公民合法權(quán)益底線、堅(jiān)守道德風(fēng)尚底線、堅(jiān)守信息真實(shí)性底線。
The celebrity microbloggers as well as bloggers dubbed "Big Vs" should use their influence correctly, exemplify in observing laws, shoulder their due social responsibilities, and promote "positive energy" actively, Jiang said.
姜軍還說(shuō)道，網(wǎng)絡(luò)名人、“網(wǎng)絡(luò)大Ｖ”更要正確運(yùn)用自身影響力，模范遵守法律法規(guī)，自覺(jué)承擔(dān)社會(huì)責(zé)任，積極傳播正能量。
