China's MERS patient stable
中國MERS患者病情穩定
China's first confirmed Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) patient is in stable condition, the health and family planning commission of Guangdong province said Tuesday.
廣東省衛計委9日通報，中國首例中東呼吸綜合征(MERS)確診患者病情穩定。
The man has had no fever for four days, but still occasionally coughs and his lungs are inflamed, the commission said in a press release.
廣東省衛計委在新聞發布會上表示，該患者已連續4天無發熱，間中咳嗽，雙肺仍有炎癥。
The man has tested negative for MERS twice, said Deng Xilong, a doctor from the No 8 People's Hospital in Guangzhou who is in charge of the treatment.
廣州市第八人民醫院主治醫師鄧西龍表示，該患者兩次檢測均呈陰性。
The commission said they had quarantined 75 people who had close contact with the man, and all of them tested negative for MERS. All of them are expected to be released from quarantine by Thursday morning at the latest.
廣東省衛計委表示，75名密切接觸者經隔離觀察，檢測結果均為陰性，最遲在11日凌晨即可全部解除隔離。
