中國(guó)"大霧霾"事件
Air quality in Beijing, a city of around 20 million people, has mostly stayed above very unhealthy and hazardous levels since the beginning of this year. Thick, off-the-scale smog shrouds eastern China, forcing airlines to cancel flights because of poor visibility and prompting Beijing to temporarily shut factories and curtail fleets of government cars.
在這座容納著約兩千萬人口的大都市,北京,年初時(shí)候的空氣質(zhì)量卻處在一個(gè)非常不健康甚至于危險(xiǎn)的水平之上 。濃厚,且規(guī)模巨大的霧霾籠罩在中國(guó)東部上空,因?yàn)榇髿獾牡涂梢姸龋F霾迫使航空公司取消航班,也促使了北京暫時(shí)關(guān)閉一些工廠和削減政府公務(wù)汽車的用度 。
