Ham and cheese toast

It’s a popular snack for students in the West because of its high protein content and simple, yet delicious flavor. Cheese and ham go well together, especially when the cheese melts into the bread.

Ingredients:

1 slice of ham

1片火腿

1 cheese slice

1片奶酪

2 slices of white bread

2片白面包

1 spoonful of mayonnaise/ honey mustard/chili sauce (optional)

1勺蛋黃醬/蜂蜜/芥末醬/辣醬（可選）

1. Put the cheese and ham on a slice of bread.

1、把奶酪和火腿放到一片面包上

2. Spread the topping on the other slice of bread. Different toppings can help vary the flavor – try mayonnaise, honey mustard, even peanut butter if you want a real taste of the West. Or, you can add Chinese chili sauce or sesame sauce to vary the flavor.

2、其調料鋪到另一片面包上。不同的調料會產生不同的口味——如果想要真正的西方風味，可以試試蛋黃醬、蜂蜜、芥末醬甚至是花生醬。另外，你也可以選擇加上中式辣醬或芝麻醬調味。

3. Put the two slices of bread together to make your sandwich and cut in half.

3、兩片面包合上，切成兩半做成三明治。

4. If you have a microwave (or a toaster), you could put the sandwich into the microwave for about one minute to melt the cheese.

4、如果你有微波爐（或者烤面包機），可以把三明治放到微波爐里加熱一分鐘，使奶酪融化。
