常見并列連詞(2013年20題考查)
and“和”，表并列或順承關系。如：John, work hard and you will make much progress. 約翰,努力學習，你就會取得很大的進步。
but“但是”，表轉(zhuǎn)折關系。如：I would love to, but I am afraid I have no time.我很想去，但是恐怕我沒有時間。
or“或者，否則”，表選擇關系。如：Hurry up, or you will miss the plane.快點，否則你就趕不上飛機了。
for/so“因為/所以”，表因果關系。如：The dress was very expensive, so I didnot buy it. 那件裙子太貴了，所以我沒有買。
常見并列連詞短語
neither...nor兩者都不……。如：Neither he nor his children like fish.他和他的孩子們都不喜歡魚。
either...or或者……或者。如：Either you or he is wrong.不是你錯了，就是他錯了。
not only...but also不但……而且。如：Not only you but also he wants to buythe book. 不但你而且他也想買那本書。
both...and兩者都……。如：Both she and I are good at English.她和我都擅長英語。
注意：①neither...nor, either...or, not only...but
also連接兩個并列成分作主語時，謂語動詞要和最近的主語保持一致，即就近原則；both...and連接兩個并列成分作主語時，謂語動詞只能用復數(shù)。②連接兩個句子時，neither, not only 后面的句子要用倒裝句。如：Not only did he speak morecorrectly, but he spoke more easily.
