從字面上看，“tongue”表示“舌頭”，“tip”是“尖、尖端”，可是如果將這句話理解為“它在我的舌尖上”，那就大錯特錯了！有時候，別人問你什么問題，你話到嘴邊，可就是說不出來——思維短路了，這時候你就可以說“It's on the tip of my tongue.”
