get a move-on實(shí)際就是在催促大家move on quickly。動(dòng)詞詞組move on加上連字符變成了名詞move-on,但是意思并未發(fā)生變化。on有“繼續(xù)”之意，move-on也就是“繼續(xù)前進(jìn)”。如果工作的實(shí)際進(jìn)度已經(jīng)落后于原本的計(jì)劃，這時(shí)就可以說:We need to get a move-on with this.（我們要加快速度了。）
