Meaning: When you know you're right, you can't back down.
concede: v. 1. yield 讓步
He conceded us the right to walk through his land. 他作出了讓步，同意我們從他的地盤上通過。
The master conceded 10 points to me at the start of the game, but, even so, he beat me.
