"Think of the patient." (Para. 6)

Meaning: "Have the patient in your mind."

think of: 1. take into account; have in one's mind

Do be careful; think of your poor mother!

小心點，想想你那可憐的母親吧！

I was thinking particularly of the children when I chose the house.

我選擇這房子主要是為孩子著想。

I can't go tonight; I have my mother to think of.

今晚我不能去，我還要照顧我母親呢。

When I said that, I was not thinking of her feelings.

我說那話時沒有考慮到她的感受。

2. have thoughts concerning (something or someone)

You're very quiet; what are you thinking of?

你一言不發，在想什么呀？

On her way to school Sandy was thinking of her brother Bill.

3. imagine (something or doing something) 想像

I'd like to go, but think of the cost!

我倒是想去，可想像一下那花費吧！

Can you think of why she should do such a thing?

你能想像她何以做出這種事情嗎？

I can't think of living in a place which has no seasons.

我無法想像住在一個沒有季節變化的地方會是種什么感受。
