A special Girl
一個(gè)特別的女孩
Jenny's class is very excited.
珍妮的同學(xué)們很興奮。
The students are sitting in the gym waiting for their principal to arrive.
學(xué)生們都坐在體育場(chǎng)里等他們校長(zhǎng)的到來(lái)。
She is going to give out a special award to Jenny's good friend, Anne.
她要給珍妮的好朋友安妮頒發(fā)一個(gè)特別的獎(jiǎng)。
The whole class is very proud of this young girl.

You see, although Anne has been in a wheelchair since she was eight years old,

This run takes place ever year in honour of Terry Fox.

Terry Fox was a special young man who decided one day to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research.

He lost one leg to cancer when he was only 15 years old, but he worked hard trying to reach his goal.
