前面的音受后面的音影響，叫逆向型同化。

如news的單獨(dú)讀音是[nju:z]，但在復(fù)合詞newspaper中卻讀[ `nju:sp eIpE],[ nju:z]中的[z]在復(fù)合詞[ `nju:sp eIpE]中由于受后面清輔音[p]的影響而清化變成了[s]。又如：used to 短語(yǔ)本該讀成[ ju:zd tu]，但受后面[t]的影響，濁輔音[d]變成了[t]，而[t]又影響[z]的讀音，使其清化為[s]，所以現(xiàn)在應(yīng)念成[ ju:s tu]。

Before I eat dinner, I read the newspaper for a while.

We read the newspaper every morning.

A: He is not the man he used to be. 他已經(jīng)不是舊日的他了。

B: Don't worry. You'll get used to it in no time.

We used to go there every year.

Our company used to do business with theirs. 我們的公司過去和他們的公司常有業(yè)務(wù)往來。
