While her Friends character, Phoebe, had a heart of gold — she wasn't necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed. Lisa Kudrow, on the other hand, couldn't be further from her iconic dim-witted character.

With an IQ of 154, Kudrow graduated from Vassar College in New York with a Bachelor of Science before working with her father, a headache specialist, while picking up odd acting jobs.

During this time, she assisted with his research — gaining credit herself — for his study on the comparative likelihood of left-handed individuals developing cluster headaches.

Six months after graduation, however, Kudrow gave up science for screen — and we couldn't be more thankful. Can you imagine anyone else singing 'Smelly Cat?'
