People use the idiom "water under the bridge" to express that a past event cannot be changed.
人們用"歲月流逝"這個(gè)短語來形容一個(gè)過去的事件已經(jīng)無法改變。
You can't control the natural flow of water,

just as you can't go back and change the course of a past event.
