It's a Catch-22: 真是左右為難、一條死胡同
Catch 22原來是一條美國軍規(guī)。約瑟夫·赫勒的黑色幽默小說《第二十二條軍規(guī)》出版后，由于小說巨大的影響，這個(gè)詞成為了美語中的固定說法。
用來形容左右為難的境地，或者是一件事陷入了死循環(huán)，或者跌進(jìn)邏輯陷阱。

相同的意思，還有另一個(gè)固定說法：
Damned if you do; damned if you don't: 你投票也不行、不投也不行
