Keep your shirt on! This idiom is used to tell someone to calm down. 這個俚語用來表示讓別人冷靜、沉住氣。所以例句的意思是別生氣！開個玩笑而已。再比如：I advise you to keep your shirt on no matter what he says. No matter就是“不管的”所以。不管他說什么，我勸你都不要發脾氣。

2. If you have a bad stock, you can lose your shirt.
Stock是“股票”的意思，這句話是說：如果你買錯股票，你可能會傾家蕩產。句子中用到的短語是Lose your shirt。If someone loses their shirt, they lose all their money through a bad investment, gambling, etc.也就是說如果說一個人把他們的shirt襯衫給丟了，那么在英文中是指他們損失了大量錢財，尤其是通過投資、賭博之類損失的。
