make one's point 言之成理

【講解】

point本義為“事項的點、條、項”，又可以專指 “要點”，由此又引申為“觀點,想法,論據(jù),道理”。例如:You，ve got apoint there.(你言之有理。）There’s no point in wasting time.（沒道理浪費時間。）本習(xí)語中的point就是“道理”之意。

【對話】

A:Why did you play truant today? I've told you several times that studying is the most important thing in your life now.
A:今天你為什么逃學(xué)？我已經(jīng)跟你說過多少次了，現(xiàn)在在你的生活中學(xué)習(xí)是最重要的事。
