A couch potato is someone who spends most of their time watching television and does not exercise or have any interesting hobbies.

沙發(fā)上的土豆是指的那些拿著搖控器，蜷在沙發(fā)上什么事都不干，只會(huì)在沙發(fā)上看電視，或者指將大部分業(yè)余時(shí)間用來(lái)躺在床上睡覺(jué)、或者抱著電視機(jī)守上十來(lái)個(gè)小時(shí)的人。

Sedentary：S-E-D-E-N-T-A-R-Y久坐的，靜坐的。

And if someone sits on the couch for a long period and do nothing but watching the television, he/she might become plump just like the shape of potatoes.
