Skipping Class逃課
Helen: Robert, where are you going?
Robert: I've got to go to the railway station to pick up a friend.
Helen: But class begins in a half hour.
Robert: I've got to play truant. I don't have a choice. And besides, this afternoon's class isn't going to be very
interesting. I don't feel like I’m going to miss very much if I don't make it.
Helen: That may be true, but you know the teacher giving the lecture is very strict. I am afraid you're going to fail this
class if you are always absent. Couldn't you let someone else go get your friend?
Robert: I probably could let someone else go, but why should I? You know you could say "yes" for me when the teacher calls
the roll if you're really worried that I might fail.
Helen: That's a bit of a problem. You know I don't like to lie, especially to teachers.
