工作總會有特別忙的時候，我們會接待客人，手頭也會有特別多的工作。希望今天與大家分享的三句話能夠用得上。
1. This is our busiest time of year./We’re busiest at this time of year.
Busiest是“忙碌”busy的最高級形式。 現在是我們一年當中最忙的時候-This is our busiest time of year. 換一種表達我們也可以說“我們在每年的這個時候最忙”，主語成了“我們”。We’re busiest at this time of year. 短語at this time of year表示“一年中的這個時候”。
拓展一下“淡季”和“旺季”的表達。“季節”的英文是season，旺季是最忙的季節：busy season或者說boom season。Boom表示“繁榮，興旺，急速增長”。還有一種表達是peak period-高峰期。秋天是北京的旅游旺季。Autumn is the peak period for tourism in Beijing.
淡季的三種表達：dull season（dull-呆滯的，遲鈍的）；slack season（slack-松弛的，蕭條的），或者off season。淡季里我們接待的游客很少。We don't get many tourists in the off season.

2.I’ll let him know you’re here./I’ll inform him that you’ve arrived.
有人找來辦公室，說我和某人約好了：I have an appointment with Mr. Jones. 那么你需要告訴他你馬上叫他來。I’ll let him know you’re here.我會讓他知道你已經到了。I’ll let him know you’re here. 我會讓他知道你已經到了。稍微正式一點的表達：I’ll inform him that you’ve arrived. 我會通知他你已經到了。Inform表示“通知”，比如說你在咨詢一項活動開始的時間，別人可能告訴你“We’ll inform you when it’s time.（到時間我們會通知您。）”You’ve相當于you have，現在完成時形式，表示已經完成的動作。

3.He’s coming shortly. He will see you soon.
還有一種極為類似的情況，人家說I’m here to see XX-我是來見某某人的。這時候人家已經知道了，不用人通知，你需要告訴他，他馬上就來。He's coming at once.At once表示“立刻，馬上”，相當于right now/right away。He's coming at once.He's coming right now/away都表示“他馬上就來”，或者說he’s coming shortly. He will see you soon.他很快就會見你的。He’ll be with you in a minute. 這里的in a minute字面意思是“在一分鐘之內”，同樣表示“立刻，馬上”。總結一下剛剛提到的關于“立刻，馬上”的表達：at one/right now/right away/shortly/soon/in a minute.
