Contention 意思是“論點(diǎn)；爭(zhēng)論”。比如：

It is his contention that taxes are too low. 他的論點(diǎn)是課稅太輕。

了解了contention 的意思，我們來(lái)看看a bone of contention的用法。來(lái)看一個(gè)對(duì)話(huà)：

A: What’s the problem? What set you two at loggerheads?
