這段時(shí)間，我們學(xué)校大四的同學(xué)都相繼外出實(shí)習(xí)，獲得一定的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)，以更好地適應(yīng)即將到來(lái)的畢業(yè)找工作，那么“實(shí)習(xí)”應(yīng)該怎么用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)呢？

實(shí)習(xí)期的正確表述是“internship”。在一些國(guó)際大公司的graduate program中，還有更嚴(yán)格的細(xì)分，比如說(shuō)first year internship，penultimate year internship，undergraduate internship和postgraduate internship的區(qū)別。目的是在于see where you fit，也就是讓實(shí)習(xí)生了解到底什么才最適合他們。

During my internship, I came into contact for the first time with society. 在實(shí)習(xí)時(shí)，我才第一次接觸到社會(huì)。

I would like to apply for the internship position that you advertised on the Internet. 我想申請(qǐng)您在網(wǎng)上廣告的實(shí)習(xí)職位。

此外還可以用其他的表達(dá)方法：

We decided against going to the factory for practice.
我們決定不到工廠去實(shí)習(xí)了。

The term of practice is tentatively fixed at half a year.
實(shí)習(xí)期限暫定為半年。

了解了實(shí)習(xí)，那么實(shí)習(xí)生該怎么說(shuō)呢？就是intern啦。比如我們可以說(shuō)：

He's working with me during the summer months as an intern.
在夏天的這幾個(gè)月到我這里來(lái)當(dāng)實(shí)習(xí)生。

I got the award of Excellent Intern with Beijing Library.
