阿美接到了北京大學(xué)的錄取通知書，但是古奇卻沒有任何消息。雖然考試沒有考好，但古奇卻十分高興，這到底是為什么呢？

May: I have received the admission letter from Peking University!
Gucci: Congratulations!
May: How about you? Have you got any news from any university?
Gucci: No. I have been waiting for three months, there is just no letter coming.
May: The season of university enrollment hasn't ended. Maybe you will receive their admission letter soon.
Gucci: I must have done terribly in my College Entrance Exams in English and math. I think they have rejected my application.
May: Come on, don't loose heart. Ask for the telephone number of the school and give them a call.
Gucci: I have called them. But they said they didn't have my information about their computer.
May: What does that mean?
Gucci: It means my score is under their requirement and my application was automatically eliminated from the system.
May: I am so sorry, Gucci.
Gucci: Don't worry about me, May. I am just so proud of you. You've got admitted by Peking University!
May: What are you going to do next?
Gucci: I am going to apply for some vocational schools. I like fashion design and I want to study it.
May: Don't be sad, Gucci, you still the chance to go to a university in the future.
Gucci: Thank you, May, but I am not sad. On the contrary, I am quite happy. Finally, I can study something I really like!

阿美: 我已經(jīng)收到北大的錄取通知書了。
古奇: 恭喜呀！
阿美: 你怎么樣？有大學(xué)來通知嗎？
古奇: 沒有，我已經(jīng)等了有三個(gè)月了，沒有一封信來。
阿美: 大學(xué)錄取的時(shí)間還沒有結(jié)束呢。也許很快你就能收到通知。
古奇: 高考時(shí)，我的數(shù)學(xué)和英語(yǔ)沒有考好。我想他們已經(jīng)拒絕我的申請(qǐng)了。
阿美: 別灰心呀。問問學(xué)校的電話號(hào)碼，給他們打個(gè)電話。
古奇: 我給他們打過電話，但是他們說電腦里沒有我的信息。
阿美: 那是什么意思？
古奇: 那就是說我的分?jǐn)?shù)沒有達(dá)到他們的要求，我的志愿表被系統(tǒng)自動(dòng)刪除了。
阿美: 我真為你感到難過，古奇。
古奇: 別為我擔(dān)心，阿美。我為你自豪。你被北京大學(xué)錄取了。
阿美: 那你接下來怎么辦？
古奇: 我想申請(qǐng)一些職業(yè)學(xué)校。我喜歡服裝設(shè)計(jì)，我想學(xué)這個(gè)。
阿美: 別傷心，古奇。你將來還是有機(jī)會(huì)上大學(xué)的。
古奇: 謝謝你，阿美。但是我不傷心，相反，我很高興。我終于可以學(xué)自己喜歡的東西了。
