考前點撥：
從中我們可以看出，考試聽寫取材采用以人為本的說明文為主，相當于聽一個3分鐘左右的迷你型講座。對一個講座的聽眾來說，首要的就是聽懂講座的Topic。所以我們在聽寫題之前的directions時間，應迅速瀏覽一下文章，找到在文章反復出現的一些主題詞，提前預測主題，這樣在聽的時候，便于將所有的聽力詞匯向主題靠攏。譬如，09年9月的考題，由university/student/education/等詞提前預測主題為美國大學教育，一切聽到的聲音就應向該主題所涉及的詞匯靠攏。這樣，不但可以做到對文章詞匯范圍心中有數。在聽到一些易混的詞如“college”和“colleage”時，我們可以根據主題迅速確定為前者。
