　　中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展的總體形勢(shì)是好的。今年以來(lái)，在世界經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)依然復(fù)雜多變的情況下，中國(guó)有針對(duì)性地加強(qiáng)和改善宏觀調(diào)控，著力穩(wěn)物價(jià)、調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)、保民生、促和諧，經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)由政策刺激向自主增長(zhǎng)有序轉(zhuǎn)變，國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)繼續(xù)朝著宏觀調(diào)控的預(yù)期方向發(fā)展。

　　In the past ten years, China's economy has made significant advance and its contribution to world economic growth has been growing. China's average tariff level has dropped from 15.3 percent to 9.8 percent, which is lower than the WTO requirement for developing countries. Its total imports in this period have reached 8.5 trillion U.S. dollars, creating a huge market for other countries.
