1. What do you think are the main changes over the past twenty years in China?
1. 你認為過去20年中國主要的變化是什么？
Great changes have taken place in China in the past twenty years because of reform and opening up. In my opinion,the main changes include the improvement of people's living standard and their attitudes toward life. Twenty years ago,Chinese people's living standard was very low. Almost all the daily necessities couldn't meet people's basic needs. Even if people had money,the chances were that there was nowhere for them to buy what they wanted. Furthermore, family members of three or even four generations lived under one roof,and sometimes parents might share the same room with their married children. Nevertheless,people can buy whatever they like nowadays. Most people live in big houses and some have their personal cars. As for the attitude towards life, in the past,people,men and women,old and young,held that they should save money for their future, so they spent less money on clothes and food let alone traveling. But now, people enjoy traveling with their family members during the holidays. They pay greater attention to the quality of life?
過去20年中國因為改革開放而發(fā)生了巨大的變化。依我看來，主要的變化包括人民生活水平的提高及他們對生活的態(tài)度。20年前，中國人民的生活水平非常低。幾乎所有生活必需品都不能滿足人民的基本需求。即使一個人有錢，可能也沒有地方能買他們想買的東西。此外，三代甚至四世同堂的家庭，有時父母可能會和他們已婚的子女合住同一房間。然而現(xiàn)如今人們可以買任何想買的東西。大多數(shù)人住在大房子里面而一些人有他們的私車。至于對生活的態(tài)度，過去的人們，無論男女老幼，都認為應為未來攢錢，因此他們省吃儉用更不用說旅游了。但是現(xiàn)在，人們享受假期里全家去旅游。他們更注重生活品質。
