Struggling with Writing Task 2?

Here are some tips to help you write your best.

We all have different strengths and weaknesses when it comes to English, and a few people have asked for some guidance on how to improve in Writing Task 2.
我們在學習英語時各有各的強項和弱項，但卻很少人向我請教如何提高雅思寫作部份的分數。
So I’m here to share with you my personal tips.
那么我現在就來和你分享一下我的個人經驗。
Plan what to write.
構思作文內容。
It’s so simple, but when you’re in an actual test situation and don’t have a lot of time it’s so easy to overlook.
說起來簡單，但當你真正坐在考場時，時間緊迫，很容易忽視這一點。
After reading the question, take a few seconds to outline your main points before you start to write – you’ll be surprised how this simple step can improve your score.
在審題之后，用幾秒鐘寫下幾個關鍵點，然后再動筆寫作——這個簡單的步驟，能給你帶來意想不到的成效。
Make your position or point of view as clear as possible.
你的觀點陳述得越清晰越好。
Writing Task 2 looks at your ability to express your opinion clearly in English, not your knowledge of the topic.
寫作部份注重的是你用英語表達觀點的能力，而不是你知識的多少。
The best thing to remember is to keep your answer relevant and give an opinion to the best of your ability.
切記，緊扣主題，盡你所能表達你的觀點。
Address the task fully.
完整回答問題。
You have to answer all parts of the question to show your understanding of the written instructions.
你必須回答問題的各個方面來證明您對該作文題目的理解。
Take a look at this:
請看這個題目：
You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
你應該用40分鐘來完成這個題目。
Write about the following topic.
根據以下主題作文。
Some people say that university students should pay the full cost of their education.
有人說大學生應該全額支付學費。
Others say that university education should be free.
有人說大學教育應該免費。
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
討論以上觀點并給出你自己的觀點。
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.
為什么你有此種觀點并根據你自己的知識和經歷列舉相關例子。
Write at least 250 words.
字數不少于250字。
Here we can see three things:
我們可以看出3個方面：
The view that university students should pay fees covering the full cost of their studies;
大學生應該支付全額學費的觀點；
The view that university students should study for free;
大學生應該免費上學的觀點；
And your own personal opinion.
以及你的個人觀點。
In this situation, you must write about all three tasks stated in this question, otherwise you’ll get a lower score.
你必須論述這個題目提到的以上三個方面，否則你會被扣分。
Summarise your main points.
總結你的主要觀點。
Don’t forget your final paragraph needs to sum up all your main arguments.
別忘記在你的最后一段中總結你所有的主要觀點。
